There are two different types of threads that Dr. O uses to achieve results: Volumizing threads, which are used to eliminate wrinkles and tighten the skin, and lifting threads, which are used to lift the skin in the desired direction.

Volumizing threads are tiny coils that are introduced into the first layers of skin with a needle. Then the needle is removed leaving the small coil of thread under the skin to expand and create volume. Lifting threads long strings that are introduced into the first layers of your skin by needle and attached to the hanging skin you want to be lifted. When the thread reaches the wrinkle that needs to be lifted, the thread is activated and gently pulled, lifting the sagging skin. PDO surgical grade threads that are safely and entirely resorbed by your body in about 3-6 months.

The threads also activate the growth of new collagen and elastin. This collagen and elastin production helps rejuvenate skin and eliminate wrinkles long after the actual threads have been resorbed by your body. Treatment usually takes under an hour, and the effects can be seen immediately! Minor swelling and bruising can be further minimized by adding supplemental growth factors to the treatment.
